Espresso Cake Pops with our Nespresso®* Compatible Capsules

 

Ingredients:

1 baked chocolate cake
3.5 oz cream cheese
1 to 2 brewed and cooled shot(s) of Tarrazu Forte espresso
8 ounces finely chopped chocolate
20 lollipop sticks

Instructions:

Prepare 1 full chocolate cake. Once the cake has cooled, use your hands to crumble the entire cake into a large bowl. Add in the cream cheese and cooled espresso and mix.

Scoop out 1 tablespoon-sized balls, rolling each into nicely shaped balls. Place the balls on a cookie sheet and let cool in the freezer for 1 hour.

In a double boiler melt the chopped chocolate. Dip the end of a stick into the melted chocolate and quickly stick it into a cake pop at least half way down. Repeat with remaining cake pops. Let the sticks rest in the pops for 5-10 mins. Once the sticks are firmly attached, dip the whole cake ball into the melted chocolate. Finally, decorate your espresso cake pop as desired! A whole coffee bean can be a nice touch.
