Aroma and Tasting Notes

The mild, aromatic profile of Arabica coffee beans grown in the rich soil of Honduras include subtle fruit and caramel notes. There is a honey development as the cup cools down, and the espresso finishes with hints of chocolate. Due to the roasting process, as well as the choice of Arabica coffee beans, this blend has a light acidity that is not too powerful and adds a balance to the overall espresso. With its subtle overtone of fruits and cocoa, and its lightly acidity, the Honduras Pura Forte becomes a bold espresso with a smooth finish.

Blend Details

The 100% Arabica beans used in our Honduras Pura Forte originate in the Honduran highlands. Grown and harvested in accordance to sustainable cultivation standards, the beans of the Honduras Pura Forte are from Faitrade certified farms. The coffee beans undergo a slow and intense roasting process to bring out their strong, lively flavor. After this, the beans are finely ground to the approximate espresso grade.

Tips for preparation

Because of its cacao fragrance, the Honduras Pura Forte is perfect for cappuccinos, latte macchiatos and other milk-based drinks. The slightly bitter, chocolate notes harmonizes with the milk without masking the rich taste of the coffee.

The Harvesting and Roasting Process

Our coffee beans are sourced from Fairtrade Certified small family coffee farms in the heart of the Honduras coffee country. The single-origin coffee beans undergo a slow and intense roasting process to bring out their strong, lively flavor. After this, the beans are finely ground to the approximate espresso grade.
